Tape RAID Level 0
operation is referred to as
"byte striping" (2+0, 4+0). Ultera Tape RAID controllers are designed to optimize the transfer speeds of each tape
drive in a RAID set to produce a single virtual tape drive that operates up to 4 times
faster with 4 times more online capacity than a single tape drive. |
